CETL sharing sessions schedule for Fall 2017

The Center of Excellence in Teaching and Learning is pleased to announce their sharing sessions schedule for Fall 2017. They include a variety of offerings on different campuses plus ONLINE that will provide information on valuable faculty support resources and collaboration time with colleagues. As you may know, SPC is gearing up for it’s SACSCOC accreditation reaffirmation visit so please join in on one of our information sessions and learn more about why accreditation so important and more about the quality enhancement plan, Ready, Set, Succeed!

Please take note of the topics and offerings below. Dates, locations, and times will be shared on the CETL website and calendar, as well as campus emails and notices. If you would like more information or have a suggestion for professional development topics, please feel free to contact the CETL Team. As you start this academic year, please consider taking time out of your busy schedule to join your colleagues in one of the sharing sessions and learn how CETL can help you find the resources to support your excellence.

SPRING 2018 CETL Ready, Set, Succeed! SESSIONS


Get your students ready for learning:  Growth Mindset, Motivation, and Ownership. (January/February 2018)


Help your students get set for success:  Time Management, Knowledge Monitoring, and Comprehension. (February/March 2018)

One Book, One College – partnering with LRC for faculty support and student engagement.

Strengthening Writing – partnering with composition faculty and college partners to enhance student readiness for college level writing along their academic pathways.
