Seeking Nominations League for Innovation Excellence Awards in Teaching and Learning
Deadline: Sunday, December 8th
Every year, community college innovators in teaching and learning are recognized for their efforts at the League for Innovations conference by receiving John & Suanne Roueche Excellence Awards. This event celebrates the accomplishments of faculty members within college systems across the U.S.
Now is the time to nominate full-time faculty members who will be recognized from St. Petersburg College in each of five categories:
- Excellence in Student Coaching & Support
- Innovation in the Use of Technology
- Outstanding Student Engagement in Face-to-face or Blended Teaching
- Outstanding Student Engagement in Online Teaching
- Innovative Pedagogical Approaches to Teaching and Learning

A committee of two Deans, one Academic Chair, one Program Director and three faculty members representing the Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning will screen the nominations and submit their recommendations to senior leadership. One faculty member for each category will be selected (total of five faculty members).
Faculty members who are selected will receive a medal and certificate in recognition of the award and will be recognized at the League for Innovations conference in March 2020 and at an SPC celebration. Please contact our team if you have any questions.
