Opportunity to Serve on CETL Board of Directors

SPC’s Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning (CETL) is a faculty focused and faculty lead center which is guided by the CETL Board of Directors (BOD).

Service on the CETL BOD is a rotating responsibility among our faculty and at this time there are 3 seats that will open up at the end of the spring 2017 term.

CETL is currently seeking outstanding full time faculty members to join its BOD starting in August of 2017. Please consider serving in this faculty leadership role.
CETL BOD Membership:

Each CETL BOD member serves for a two year term and attends monthly meetings in fall and spring semesters for approximately 8 meetings total each academic year. Meetings during summer are on an as needed basis for special projects.

Monthly meetings are held on Fridays, mid-morning for 1.5 hours at the CETL offices on the Clearwater campus. A call in or web option is also available.

CETL BOD members participate in planning college wide professional development opportunities for all faculty, CETL grant and award decisions, planning for CETL administrative and faculty support functions, and special projects related to the core mission of excellence in teaching and learning as determined annually.

This is a great opportunity to serve your fellow faculty by supporting excellence in teaching and learning, and it qualifies as a professional development, college wide contributions and leadership experience to be highlighted as part of faculty evaluations.

If you are interested in serving, please complete the CETL Board of Directors Open Seat Survey.

If you have any questions about service on the CETL Board of Directors, please feel free to contact Heather Roberson anytime or reach out to any of our current members.

Thank you for your consideration to serve.
