The mission of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) is to support, recognize, and reward faculty in the pursuit of excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment to promote student success at SPC. CETL offers a variety of professional development opportunities for all SPC Faculty.

IDEAS offers instructional design assistance and guidance, professional development opportunities, technology resources, and just-in-time instructional technology support.

Summer Institute
Join IDEAS and CETL workshop experiences centered around High-Impact Teaching Strategies. Each session will include instruction and information on a HITS topic and an interactive session where you can implement what you have learned. Institute dates are: 5/20, 6/3, & 6/24, meeting virtually 9:00-11:00 am and 12:30-2:30.
