With the end of the semester nearly here, CETL will be hosting an online webinar to discuss Student Retention, the most important and impactful issue at SPC. If your schedule allows, we would like to invite you to attend this session to contribute thoughtfully to this ongoing discussion.
Student Retention, as Dr. Williams stated in her address on Discovery Day, is key to maintaining and improving the College’s financial situation and its overall performance.
The main objective of this session is to exchange ideas among faculty on how to maximize student retention and success.
In the service of this objective, we are going to discuss:
- Engagement strategies between faculty and students.
- Faculty tools and strategies for student retention.
- Strategic ways on how to use these tools in order to have informed communications with students and provide them with personalized support.
- Faculty support for Spring 2018 class registration.
